Returns and Exchanges:

We gladly accept returns or exchanges of unused non-food merchandise in or with its original packaging.

Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment or as store credit for the amount paid. An original receipt is required unless the purchase can be located under the customer’s name in our system. Returns or exchanges that cannot be verified may be eligible for store credit at the store’s discretion.

 

Bird Food Returns:

We cannot accept returns of bird food, even when the package has not been opened. Once food leaves the store, we cannot verify how it was transported or stored and cannot guarantee its freshness for another customer.

Exceptions may be considered individually at the store’s discretion. If you have a concern about the quality of bird food you purchased from us, please contact the store so we can help.

 

Product Warranties:

Some Wild Birds Unlimited products include manufacturer warranties. Coverage varies by product and applies to manufacturing defects unless otherwise stated.

Aspects, Inc.: Aspects offers a limited lifetime guarantee covering manufacturing defects on qualifying Wild Birds Unlimited branded tube feeders, mesh tube feeders, hummingbird feeders, and window feeders.

Backyard Nature Products:  Backyard Nature Products offers a limited lifetime guarantee covering manufacturing defects on qualifying recycled-plastic Wild Birds Unlimited feeders and bird houses, including Modern Rustic, EcoTough®, and FeatherWeight® products.

Brome Bird Care:  Brome Bird Care offers a limited lifetime guarantee to the original owner on qualifying Wild Birds Unlimited Eliminator and Fundamental squirrel-proof feeders. Coverage includes manufacturing defects and squirrel damage.

Holscher Products, Inc.: Holscher Products offers the following coverage on qualifying products:

• Advanced Pole System components: 10 years against manufacturing defects
• Rusting or powder-coat damage: 1 year
• Drippers and misters: 90 days

Proof of purchase is required for this warranty.

Warranty terms are determined by the manufacturer and may vary by product. Contact us if you are unsure whether your item qualifies.

What Is Not Covered?

Unless specifically included by the manufacturer, warranties do not cover damage caused by:

• Neglect or misuse
• Animals or wildlife
• Severe weather
• Lawn equipment
• A feeder or house falling from a hook, pole, or tree
• Loss or theft
• Cosmetic discoloration, scratches, or rust

We are happy to inspect your product and help determine whether the damage may be covered.

 

Bird Feeder Repairs and Replacement Parts:

Do not assume a damaged bird feeder must be replaced. We carry replacement parts for many feeders and can often complete simple repairs in the store at little or no labor cost.

Please empty and clean your feeder before bringing it into the store. Many repairs can be completed the same day, depending on the product, the necessary parts, and staff availability.

For parts that aren't covered by warranty, we can often offer replacement parts, if they are available from the manufacturer, at the cost of the part plus tax. We may have to order the part, and delivery will be at the manufacturer's availability and convenience.
